Colin Farrell accepts his fate

LOS ANGELES — Colin Farrell is back fighting a war in "Triage," which arrives on Blu-ray and DVD Aug. 10.

Farrell plays a battle-worn photographer who returns to the home front after a fateful tour of duty. The discs include interviews, a making-of featurette and behind-the-scenes footage.

Farrell says he believes in fate

"I worked with Forest Whitaker one time and he had a little talk with me about fate and destiny and trying not to fight it and just accept it," Farrell said. "I know he was probably talking about what I was going through at the time. I really think that fate surely does have a hand in having me here talking to you today. And I know I've had a lotta luck with the meetings I've had and places I've been and people I've met at particular times. I've had a lot of good fortune and I'm always one to take good fortune and enjoy it and realize it is good fortune, but taking a rider, for sure.
